Yes we are. And we found out through the early blood test method that it is yet another boy. I am 4 for 4.

No, it's mostly the older general public and some people within my organization at the County Offices.
Oh, I definitely understand you now. Was on the county board for several years. I was one of the few that understood any basic technology. Most people who seemed to use the county services were elderly. I know that want an office in every county but they could go to a basic secretary and then share coordinators with another county pretty easily.

I had a T.A. last spring who could barely log into Canvas.
After I turned in grades for him, he suddenly knew how to use his email. Once he started asking me to look up grades for different individual students, claiming he didn't know how, I just forgot how to reply.
I don't understand, at any job, how developing basic competence in the software you have to operate is optional to people, and why they persist in any sort of gainful employment.
As Lew puts it, you're not man enough to blow the balls off them.

I mean, Canvas sucks, but if it's part of the job.
I gave that speech to my TA in Spring 2020 when he didn't want to use it as we went remote.
At the same time, DMACC is shifting to Canvas, and I see that as my excuse to bail out. I'm not doing unpaid training for a job I want to get rid of.
But, oh, Canvas.
They were doing that for a while before I retired. There used to be field crop specialists and horticulturalists in most of the counties. I think Paul Kassel was handling 20 or so counties by the time I left. I wonder if he has decided to retire yet.
Yeah, those positions were happening when I was on the board. I thought each county still had a supervisor and that was one place I thought they could share and cut costs.
We're strictly the ecommerce site for programs and most of them are using Canvas. We email detailed instructions on what people need to do and also mention they need to contact the program director if they are having issues using Canvas (if they are having issues with payment, they're supposed to contact us). Low and behold, most of my job now is IT troubleshooting for people for Canvas (and programs being held over Zoom), some if it coming from people who collect a paycheck from the University. I'm not even supposed to be doing IT troubleshooting but alas.
Heard one or two last week and now officially seeing cranes back in WI. They're early.
Yes he has. Ran for county supervisor unsuccessfully last Nov. That was a shame I think he would have done a good job.
