Week 2 - Match of the Week - Spurs at Chelsea

In the last five matches, Chelsea has outscored Spurs 10-2 while carding four wins and one draw. The Blues got lucky to beat Everton in Week 1 and are still unsettled, so I predict Spurs, 2-1.

Besides me, who spends an hour every day reading transfer rumors about your favorite team? Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and Newcastle are splashing the cash, while City and Liverpool fine tune with fewer but more expensive pieces. Barca and ManU losing their luster! Anybody care to make late transfer window predictions?

I predict Spurs pick up versatile creative midfielder Lucas Paqueta and left footed CB Pau Torres in the final week, after offloading Ndombele, LoCelso and Winks - Reguillon stays and works his way back into good graces!

Arsenal win 4-2, Nottingham Forest get their first Premier League win in 23 years and the Spurs net a 95th minute goal to leave Chelsea with a heated draw.

Really fun weekend.

I tuned in for the second half of Chelsea-Tottenham. That was an incredible match to watch. If someone tells you that soccer is boring I'd challenge them to watch that.

It also does a great job of showing why ties are not created equal (and why I think ties can still be really entertaining). Because one team definitely came out of that game happier than the other.

Hey Scott, Mitro isn't Prem quality huh?

To Scott Parker and the Paid and unpaid Premier Analysts out there (some of which reside on this very Message Board) that is 5 matches for FFC and 5 goals for Mitro.

Arsenal have looked pretty vulnerable as of late
Arsenal blackboard before the match:
1) Apply midfield pressure
2) Attack Silva with Saka
3) Make soft passes between the back line and Ramsdale all day long

Home loss against bottom of the table Southampton. You would think they have to be considering sacking Potter.
You might as well wait till the end of the season and just ride out this mod table mediocrity then sack and then start fresh and new
