Big 12 Seeding

Guessing we will be seeded at each weight aside from 125 and 141.

If I’m a highly seeded guy and get a first round match I’d probably be disappointed to see Cabanaban or Swiderski.

Both of those guys are capable of stealing bids.

I’d go Sloan clear #1. Then Elam, Pentz, Yonger, Surber in that order.

Good weight. Sloan is someone I’ve always wanted to see that style matchup against Yonger.

What a mess. I think Sloan and Pentz see eachother this weekend so that should provide a tad bit more clarity but still.

I think that I would go Sloan, Elam, Yonger, Pentz, Surber. Both Pentz and YB have lost to Elam, but Pentz' victories are much weaker than Yongers. If Pentz beats Sloan this weekend I will just throw up my hands and walk away.

Is this ND/SD matchup on ESPN+?? I certainly would like to catch it.

They are both affiliate members so no ESPN+ . NDSU will stream it on their website gobisons.com , I don’t know if there is a fee.

Those top 6 seeds at 141 are bad match ups for Casey. They’re all good on the mat.

Agree. Got me thinking, what’s next year look like at 57 in the conference assuming he goes up there next. Does that clear out some? That’s such a weak weight nationwide this year.

With the Covid year it’s hard to tell. The top guys should be back.

This is where I'm at too. He will probably need some sort of surgery to repair his shoulder after the season, which will take lifting time and mat time away from him. Good opportunity to redshirt next year and properly bulk up to 157 the next year
