AFC Game Thread

I like the chiefs but man I felt guilty watching that game and how bad the refs were. It gave me the Iowa State vs OU/Texas type vibes except I was rooting for the Chiefs

It was bad…. Chiefs got almost every call.

I felt bad for the Chiefs because of all their injuries though. Maybe the refs were just trying to help the Chiefs out for all their injuries?

Yep…. another example…. thanks! Gronk probably wouldn’t even do that?

Barely pushed him. It's definitely called earlier in the game, I don't like seeing that decide a game though. Had nothing to do with the play in the field. No worse than any other game changing call though, I suppose
I guess if he hit Mahones in the parking lot with his car, you would be ok with you.

He was just obviously triggered by Burrow…. that was obvious. No big deal…. a lot of people I guess would be triggered by people they couldn’t beat…. and then finally beat them once.
Mayfield is like 4-0 against Burrows, does that apply in that situation there also?

Classy? He’s never been that…. just listen to him and watch him. Embarrassing.
Travis Kelce will not be remembered for being politically correct. He will be remembered for being a pretty good tight end.

I would say he might have been amped a little. Back injury overcome and played with. Beat their recent nemesis. Going to the Super Bowl.

He's a little excited. His emotions from earlier in his career came out. I can't blame him. I'd want him on my team any day.

I'll bet Andy Reed, who is Morman, doesn't mind having him around either.

How can you survive in the real world if you can’t handle some good natured **** talking? The version where everyone minds their manners and says please and thank you after the game would be so ******* boring.

Reid is Mormon? TIL.

Which call though? The late hit isn't even debatable. The do over 3rd down was a tremendous break I'll admit but amounted to very little as they later punted. On other end I felt the negating of sky Moores long punt return with a weak hold and a few plays later a rare if ever taunting call on an offensive lineman equaled to about 50 yards.

Imagine top 10 type players playing for a chance to go to the championship being cocky.

Correct me if I'm wrong but all Kelce did was respond to smack from Cincy's mayor and the Burrowhead talk. Both of which were low class, but not a big deal. Saw nothing wrong with Kelce snacking those down either. It's entertainment.

Unless I missed something else postgame

What calls did the Chiefs get that were wrong? The international grounded on Barrows was the correct call, ball never got to the line. The pass interference call on Apple, he turned the WR with his hand. The replay of the 3rd down, on the replay the ref was running in to call the play dead before it started. The shove on Mahomes was a late hit.
Cincinnati was holding Jones the entire game and getting away with it, there was nothing that was horrible that was missed that gave KC the game. Mahomes has been taking a beating the entire season with late hits, and its nice to see one finally get called.
People are forgetting the penalty the chief's lineman got after a big play, or the touchdown that was brought back for a holding penalty.

The game was called about as fairly as it could be called, not sure either team was screwed over, KC made enough plays to win the game, just like Cincinnati did last year.
