***#4 Iowa State vs. Oklahoma (Friday, 7:00)***

A ways away if 141 and 149 don’t figure some things out in the next 4 weeks.

I think they will.
Let’s compare to where we were preseason.

25 - expectations down due to onjury
33 - expectations up slightly with Redding
41 - expectations down. Casey’s talent is ready for big time, but not the rest.
49 - expectations up. While he’s down from where he was after the Iowa dual, still higher than reasonable preseason expectations.
57 - same
65 - same
74 - same
84 - same
97 - same
Heavy - expectations up. He’s moved from a 15-20 guy to a clear 8-10 guy with a legit shot at AA. Very consistent performer.

So I’d say two weights up and two down. Still a lot of season left before March. We’ll just have to see what happens at 41 and 49. Our NCAA performance really hinges on one of them placing, although Schuyler might be able to help.

Sammy is an underrated dude in the lineup of a lot of studs. He gets it done when he should and doesn’t probably get talked about enough. He was a hell of a find by the staff.

The great news is, Casey gets a ranked guy tomorrow, Paniro gets a top 20 guy, and Brodersen gets a top 10 guy.

I also think Casey and Paniro are rhythm wrestlers, so matches close together (back to back duals or tournament settings) will favor them.

Be a quick way to make people forget heading into another busy week next week.

Hmmm, didn’t I post something similar to this on Tuesday and got roundly dismissed?
“Roundly dismissed”? I didn’t see that. I think most were agreeing with you that if we go 0-2 at 141 and 149 we’re in trouble tomorrow.

Maybe I missed it though.

You also included Oklahoma in the “starting to worry” you thread, and while there were some stinkers against OU, that nervousness turned out to be pretty baseless.

Who was Dresser addressing WRT the dice? I didn't hear the question. Was it Kraisser? I thought it must be since he was talking about OT.
