**** the Refs

If you're hoping for flawless officiating done by humans in a game played by 19-22 year old kids, I don't know what to tell you, you're going to be waiting a long time. I watched the majority of the 2nd half last night and I had zero issue with anything called on Oklahoma, they were lazy defensively.

You said the 39 fts were all on OU.

Have you never seen KU be officiated in Big 12? They get dead ball baskets but all 39 free throws were dumb plays by OU. LMAO

I don’t expect perfection. I live in the real world though.

Gotta outplay KU by about 10 points to nullify the refs. It’s approaching.

Hopefully they don’t count any of KU’s warm up buckets.

I mean they did count this 3 pointer on a dead ball against us. So I would not be shocked. ALso, The refs knew even before he shot it that is was not good. Thats why they immediatly blew the whistle when it went though.

We shot 0 ft vs OU last year (one obvious makeup call in garbage time) and KU shot 39 vs OU last night?

Guessing the officials were not flawless in that wild swing in at least one of those games.

Unrelated but Miami Heat set record 40 for 40 ft last night.

That's quite impressive.

Just hoping no Hollywood Higgins and his monitor time. Pretty sure the TCU arm tackle of Lipsey was on his watch

We have to play about 10 points better to win because the refs will probably squander 5-6 of them somehow.

I suppose to be fair, at the end of last night's game, I didn't notice the refs doing anything that caused for red flags. Oklahoma wilted just fine on their own.

That was all on Oklahoma, not the officiating. You have to at least attempt to move your feet and not grab.
I thought the game was very physical.....I kept thinking: Man, I hope they let us play that aggressive too and not get whistled for every ticky tack foul. KU is deadly on the foul line.

I'm not going to live in the world of officiating conspiracies.

OU fouled last night. A lot. It had nothing to do with who they were playing.

It's not an "officiating conspiracy" that KU gets a ton of calls especially at home. Stop deluding yourself.

I'll believe you OU fouled a lot, the idea that KU didn't get at least a few of their typical ridiculous calls on top of that is ludicrous in a game where the other team shoots 39 fts at Phog. Ludicrous.

Jimmy Butler set individual record in same game 23-23. He’s not Steph Curry but 84% so not entirely miraculous given the 23 chances.
I'm pretty sure I read that there are two instances of 24/24, one regular season and one playoffs

KU gets the benefit of poor officiating no matter where they play. Remember when Georges got tackled, then called for a foul as the KU player was laying on top of him? Same game that their center fouled out, but continued to play. Oh, and we lost in OT.

ISU gets calls at home too.
Its not a conspiracy

If you don’t think Kansas gets extreme home cooking you’re living in an absolute fantasy land. Seriously. Every single Big 12 team has gotten absolutely screwed one way or another down there, and some teams multiple times.

It does not have to be a conspiracy in that the refs are trying to screw one team, but they get caught up in the atmosphere and they flat out blow calls that almost always lead to Kansas winning.
