Is Aaron Rodgers done?

Rodgers went straight downhill when he got involved with the Shailene chick and her "tanning".

I don't know how they could afford AR contract and keep that team intact anyway.
Despite vastly different personalities, it’s all kind of like Favre at the end. Both are just going to bring one Super Bowl championship to Green Bay. Both always bringing drama on what they are going to do. Both not showing up for camp. Difference is Favre had a great QB behind him and got dumped.

He'll be on the Colts next year. That's seems to be their MO lately. Grabbing a former high level QB for one last ride.

His contract extension makes him really hard to trade so he's either going to have to gut it out in GB or retire at this point if he wants to keep playing. Even if he retires GB is going to take on a massive dead cap space hit and any team that trades for him is going to take on a big cap hit too.

The rumor is he wants to end his career as a 49er.
Poor Brock.

It does seem like a franchise set up to win now but could benefit from an even slight upgrade at QB makes sense. Not sure who really fits that bill though. The Raiders and Rams will probably be looking for QBs in the offseason, but their rosters both suck. Maybe he goes to Miami where he can throw to Tyreek and Jaylen Waddle? San Fran would be the obvious front runner, although seems like they could also end up with Brady.

I'm not sure how the 49ers could really do it. I'm not really into salary cap stuff but it seems to me like they have a boatload of talent to pay and Brock is the obvious solution as a 6th rounder on his first contract since he's under a million dollar hit to the cap. It's really hard to build a contender with that number at QB. Even when you add Lance into that they are at a low number.

Didn't he spend some time with Olivia Munn? He should've stuck with her lol
He did, but she may have dumped him. And there was Danica. Now with the daughter of an owner of the Bucks, that probably won’t last when he gets out of Green Bay.

I would hate Rodgers as an owner or a coach, but I have never thought of him as a poor teammate. He undoubtedly made every player around him better. Hed be an ass about it, but still, made everyone better.

As for being a drama Queen, that’s what I appreciate about him. A large part of it, I think, is to watch the media go nuts, and it works. He knows how to make the media and fans go stir crazy and it’s hilarious.

If your family is a team, he’s not so good at that. Maybe he should marry into the royals. Would fit right in.

Given the last two months of football - where the Niners have won 10 straight - and they are 6-0 with Brock (he played most of the Miami game), why in the hell would Kyle Shanahan change anything with this offense?

I sure wouldn't. Rogers is expensive and not what he used to be. Green Bay is stuck with him, or will rebuild if he hangs it up. I bet he does 1 more year in Green Bay.

Agreed. Speaks for itself all the guys that got significantly worse outside of Green Bay that were touted as stars. Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb, etc.

He's obviously an amazing QB and I'm probably biased as a Vikes fan but man he sure comes off as smug and arrogant. No idea on what he's like in real life but he doesn't strike me as someone I'd enjoy being around. Seems like he thinks he's "above" everyone else. He sure didn't seem all that into the game yesterday.

They're going to either play him or bench him next year and I don't see them benching him.

This is interesting. Purdy not their guy in their minds?

I like Rodgers for how he helped Lazard, but when it comes to his relationships with ownership, his family, and his girlfriends this seems to apply:
