I am in an organization that literally has thousands of employees. Invariably when they send out an organization wide email welcoming a new high ranking employee or announcing one will be leaving there are 10-15 idiots who have to hit reply to all to congratulate or welcome them. Not surprisingly it is often the same fools doing this each time.

Longtime listener popping in. We had one at a client this fall for some random IT bug and the reply all count went over 40. It was hilarious at the escalating angry STOP REPLYING!!! followed by another group of " remove me from this list "

That stuff drives me nuts. I also get added to conversations for clients I don't even support and so I get a never ending back and forth that I don't care about

When my last boss decided I needed to be controlled when dealing with clientele, she insisted that I copy her on all of my replies to emails.
That lasted one, maybe two days. She didn't realize how many email queries I handled on a daily basis, many on totally innocuous stuff that could be easily found on our webpage (where they found my email address). One of the few times I was grateful for volume traffic in my inbox. :D

And this is why there should always be at least TWO people in the boat.
It's actually a law, in Iowa at least.
And this is why it has to be jet ski rated for 3 to legally water ski or wake board behind it. At least that is the way it used to be.

Boat owner chiming in here. Mine has a "dead man's switch" that's basically a tether to a kill switch by the throttle. You're supposed to clip it to yourself at all times. I don't if we're just putzing around and my wife is capable of operation.
But any time we're going to zoom around/tube/ski I wrap it around my thigh. If I was to move 2' from my chair, it would kill the boat engine even while throttle lever is engaged.

Coming back to campus after a long layoff to a million requests is always fun. Had some county offices complaining to me they ordered stuff over partial shut down and haven't received it yet...

I think I found @BoxsterCy's twitter feed...

LOL ,my niece bought a house on a lake this yr, now that it is ice fishing season they have to close their curtains more than in the summer. Turns out their lake is really popular for ice fishing. During the summer you can't hardly see the lake thru the trees.

Kind of crazy how bodies of water can act and how things can go hidden. A man went missing in May and was found on the other side of town after floating through town.

A couple from my H.S. went thru the ice one winter found the girl and baby don't think the guy ever did show up. They missed a corner, the pick up went out onto the ice and broke thru.

The neighbor of someone we know lost a teenage daughter in the Cedar at Palisades Kepler this summer. Never did find her after an extensive search and I from what I was told they suspect her body is either stuck under a rock somewhere or will show up downstream the Cedar or Mississippi somewhere.

How many college kids have shown up at the bottom of Lake Laverne? There was at least one during my years in Ames. Can't remember the kid's name but I think he lived in the Towers.

Gosh I don't remember from my time in school.

It can stop snowing anytime now. Snowed another 3" of so last night. Neighbor's across the street (good neighbors) have been gone for 10 days or so. I carved a pass through the mountain ridge of plowed snow across the end of their driveway yesterday with the idea off running my snow blower through it to get the the "open plains" of their driveway beyond. Now I am not sure my snow blower will be able to handle it, it's now at least a foot deep and half is heavy pack stuff.
