49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

Lol. His hardest games are still in front of him.

Your expertise is astonishing, I assume that you have retired and living a life of luxury from your gambling winnings. I will go out on a limb and publicly state that as NFL teams enter the playoffs and advance with wins that the hardest games are still in front of them. TIA for providing the insight.

?? The Raiders have the fourth worst pass defense in the NFL... And the Cardinals are trotting out their third string QB.

We're talking about a QB who was picked last in the draft. Compare that to someone like Zach Wilson currently. What he's doing is remarkable and a feel good story - why do you think that not only his team is rallying around him but pretty much the entire country?

Skylar freaking Thompson was picked before he was - and he's been awful when the Dolphins have put him in.

Brock has his own thread on the UT board & most of it is positive!

"I was kind of surprised he wasn’t drafted a lot higher. You never know, but he seemed to have the it factor. Plus he is a smart QB. Look at how bad Kittle was before Purdy and look at him now. If any of us were QB of the 49ers, we would at least know to throw the damn ball to Kittle. Purdy does that".

So you're agreeing with me that he's not mvp material after 3 games?

As long as Brady & Rodgers are still viable for a Hollywood run into the play offs, MVP is theirs to lose. Same holds true for Purdy. Mahomes & Allen are on the outside looking in. Here's another bold prediction: which ever QB1 enters the playoffs as the highest ranked team seed will be MVP. Inside intel, place your bets.

He's up to 3rd best odds at winning offensive rookie of the year. Garrett Wilson WR for the Jets should pass the 1,000 yard mark before the season is over and maybe the only reason Brock doesn't get it. Here's to crushing it the final two games!

I think some people (very few, usually Iowa fans) are losing sight of this. It's an incredible story.

If there were a last quarter of the season MVP Purdy is it.

On a full season I'm going Jeffries.
