Snow totals are hard and constantly changing with speed, track, etc. forecasting the high winds behind it is not so hard.

Kinda yeah. Totals will be low, but the wind will be brutal. Will face whiteout, but won’t be getting buried too bad.

InAccuweather is probably a better name. I don't find them to be much better than the Farmer's Almanac more than a day or two out.

KCCI is predicting 1-3 inches of snow in their app. Are they going to nail!?

Surprising, ever since Chris dooshnozzle got there they always have a really huge spread like 1-7 inches, so that he can always say he was right. 1-3 is kind of bold for their standards.

Would it makes more sense to wait until Friday to clear the driveway? Otherwise you’ll have to do it again once the wind does its thing….

This seems like one of those storms where nobody really has a clue. Either it will be a total bust, or we'll get 20 inches.

Depends on the driveway probably and how much blows out vs stays in place

Also the snow that doesn't blow away compresses the longer you leave it there (or if you drive over it at all)

Accuweather here is generally not accurate. Always calling for snow when it seldom snows here, last week they called for 7" of snow over 3 days and we got flurries for a couple of hours and rain.

My wife works Thursday so I will be out to clear a way for her to get out by 6:15 and then for her to get home sometime Thursday night.

He’s probably worn out from running his climate change special before 48 hours last Saturday.
