49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

Really interested to see how the Niners handle these last 3 games and the Purdy situation with his injury. I assume the want the 2 seed, I assume they want a healthy Purdy, I assume the want Purdy to get more experience, I assume they want to keep a confident Purdy. Playing him risks injury, risks a blow to confidence, sitting him could also risk a blow to confidence / experience. Maybe I am overthinking it.

The safest bet I suppose is to just wait until the Vikings implode.

Last night when Kittles said "How many times did you beat Iowa?" I wish Brock would've said "Well we ended up in the same place anyway."

10 days rest should help

At this point, early in his career, I'd rather see him as a backup on a loaded team over the starter on a team with all kinds of holes. The Packers might not fit the latter if they did a great job using that money to surround him with weapons, but right now, they look pretty rough.
While I don’t really disagree that the packers have holes right now I think a lot are injuries on the receiver front and Rodgers himself. At least offensively. Rodgers has been downright bad this year. He would be a downgrade over Brock right now.

The interview after the game was bizarre. Would have preferred it was just Brock and the Fitzmagic.

Kittle looks old enough to be Brock’s dad and Brock acts so much more mature and professional. The Hawk digs were like some middle school moron. Kittle’s numbers were down this year, Brock is probably the best thing to happen to him. But Brock honed right in on the fact that Kittle never shuts up.

Just keep playing. Purdy needs all the live experience he can get. Neither the 49ers nor the Vikings remaining games are incredibly tough, so best to keep moving forward and getting him more comfortable with the offense.

Not to mention Charissa Thompson seemed to be hitting on Kittle. Pretty sure she said something like, "you can do whatever you want" to him in a soft voice. Weird.

There were too many people up there and no one could say much with the Kittle monologue. Brock and Fitz seemed to have a brief chat after, would have preferred hearing that.

Told my wife multiple times Sherm seemed drunk in postgame. I haven't seen enough of Bosa, but he seemed high on pain killers after the game, ala Rodgers "muh knee".

Really loose postgame, but it was fun
