49ers - Brock Purdy - Still and Always #1

I've heard him brought up on all kinds of non sports podcasts, shows, etc. in the last week. Just wild.

Imagine if Breece didn't get hurt, they'd be two of the biggest stories out there this year.
Yeah unfortunately Breece was starting to get a lot talk but got hurt quickly after that

10 for 15 with a touchdown and no interceptions, taking a 14-3 lead into halftime, and receiving kickoff to start the 2nd half. I'd say that's not too shabby for a rookie QB playing in the toughest stadium in the NFL.

0-5 on his last 5 passes with 1 that should have been an INT, another that could have been an INT and a couple that weren't even close.

Hopefully he calms down and comes out back on track after half time.

Yeah, he actually looked like a rookie on those last 5. That wasn't so pretty.
He's got a nice lead for the 2nd half. That oughta help. He won't have to do a lot from here on out.

The first incompletion wasn't on him as he had an unblocked defender crashing down on him forcing him to unload it.

Looked to me like SEA was stopping the run, then working to keep everything in front, daring Brock to beat them over the top.

Kind of had a rough 2nd quarter and got away with one there, but overall he's doing exactly what you want a backup QB on this roster to do. Hand the ball off, make a couple of big plays, and let that defense do the rest.
