And overall I've been very impressed with Prime's production quality. The pre and post games are done well too.
Purdy is making himself a lot of money with these starts; at worst he is showing the 49ers and the league that he can play as a backup in the league.

If he balls out and finished with great numbers and 4-2 record, I could actually see someone like Carolina Panthers, the Saints, Texans, or some team like that pursue him to be a starter. What a wild world that would be.
The bar at this point I think is high quality backup. I would be very worried if I were Trey Lance, he has nowhere close to Brock's accuracy.
I'd love to somehow just have hearing the noise from the stadium as an option.

Reminds me of Sage saying something about how he took seriously his preseason and mop-up duty because he considered it auditioning for his next job.
Purdy is under contract for the next 3 years after this with the 49ers, no way those other teams even have a chance to get him. As well as he is playing, abet only 2 games, the 49ers have to be thinking he could be the future, and plan on keeping him at least as long as they have him on a cheap, controlled contract.
From here on out, Iowa State and Purdy will get a mention every year at the NFL Draft when they make the last selection. Good publicity as the one and only Mr. Relevant.
