I think he's fine in college but I don't love him in this role.
He [Herbie] just doesn't have much chemistry with Al Michaels.

And overall I've been very impressed with Prime's production quality. The pre and post games are done well too.He [Herbie] just doesn't have much chemistry with Al Michaels.
He’s making about 1 million a year, but you have to think some endorsements are probably in the works, which would earn him much more than his football salary.Purdy is making himself a lot of money with these starts; at worst he is showing the 49ers and the league that he can play as a backup at worst in the league.
He is on a cheap contract right now for the 49ers, and they will want to keep him around while they control him for the next 4 seasons, guaranteeing him at least an NFL pension.
The mute button is your friend. You don't have to turn off the whole TVits why i don’t watch Thursday night games. No reason for him to be the talent on the broadcast. I’ll watch this week tho.
I watch hundreds of basketball and football games a year and I bet 75% never come off mute. The mute button is your friend. You don't have to turn off the whole TV
My percentage is similar. They're most likely not going to say something I haven't heard before.I watch hundreds of basketball and football games a year and I bet 75% never come off mute.

He is making $705,000 this year, with a signing bonus of $20,000. He gets a bump to $870,000 next year, and its not until the 4th year when he breaks a million a year. He’s making about 1 million a year, but you have to think some endorsements are probably in the works, which would earn him much more than his football salary.
If he balls out and finished with great numbers and 4-2 record, I could actually see someone like Carolina Panthers, the Saints, Texans, or some team like that pursue him to be a starter. What a wild world that would be.Purdy is making himself a lot of money with these starts; at worst he is showing the 49ers and the league that he can play as a backup in the league.

I'd love to somehow just have hearing the noise from the stadium as an option.I watch hundreds of basketball and football games a year and I bet 75% never come off mute.

Purdy is under contract for the next 3 years after this with the 49ers, no way those other teams even have a chance to get him. As well as he is playing, abet only 2 games, the 49ers have to be thinking he could be the future, and plan on keeping him at least as long as they have him on a cheap, controlled contract. If he balls out and finished with great numbers and 4-2 record, I could actually see someone like Carolina Panthers, the Saints, Texans, or some team like that pursue him to be a starter. The bar at this point I think is high quality backup. I would be very worried if I were Trey Lance, he has nowhere close to Brock's accuracy.
Boomer doing Brocks highlights hits me right in the feels
Brick by brick Mr RelevantFrom here on out, Iowa State and Purdy will get a mention every year at the NFL Draft when they make the last selection. Good publicity as the one and only Mr. Relevant.
