Eli King??

Most freshman that arent the top 5* types arent ready to contribute right away. He is super athletic, and his time will come. Let him cook a little while longer. I love his potential.
Especially on a deep team, with a lot of age and experience in front of him at his position. We have nine guys playing regular minutes, and all of them have been up to the task.

I’d say if he hasn’t figured it out by the start of next year see you later, until then who cares he isn’t needed right now, let the kid develop

I assume Lipsey wouldn't have as much PT either if J. Williams were healthy.

Otz is pretty firm on deep bench guys only getting the final few minutes of 20 point blowouts.

I assume a healthy Williams would have impacted the rotation as...

-- less Lipsey, but only slightly (maybe five minutes per game)
-- small deduction from the other guards (Holmes, Kalscheur, Grill) to keep them fresher
-- probably wouldn't have seen much of Watson as the last guard of the bench

Nothing drastic.

Minnesota has had two top NBA draft picks as sophomores I guess that’s where the Superior Minnesota talent comment comes from. Eli is probably the only player on this team that could bring them back tonight against Iowa. Maybe could turn the embarrassment around.

If he could dribble he should be playing. Since he’s not playing I’m guessing he can’t dribble
