2022/23 Coaching Staff Changes

What negativity? In my opinion it will be a negative if Campbell hires some vagabond with no prior ties. That’s Mangino and signals desperation and no belief in his process. I’d like to see Scheelhasse promoted.
There still so much negativity even after CMC is making changes, that I wrongly assumed that you were suggesting he just “hires buddies” like others. Appears we actually agree, my bad. My assumption maybe a sign I need to take a break from here again.

Culture matters, team chemistry Matters, relationships matter consistency matters. That’s helped the current program and constant staff churn plaguedMac and Paul.

Change is good. I was surprised by Kansas FB team this year. They were not great, especially after a few guys got hurt, but they were pretty fun to watch on offense. All kinds of formations, guys all over the place, lots of misdirection stuff. The ISU offense this year was just boring and predictable.
Look at TCU in year one after long time coach Gary Patterson was shown the door.

This is the biggest thing I'm hoping to see change. While I can agree with people that ISU under Campbell likely won't ever be trying to go air raid or insanely aggressive on offense, they can do a lot more to put guys in positions to succeed while sticking with a similar philosophy.

If Kansas can do it, ISU sure as hell can.

Agreed. The buddy system rarely works out in any business.

Manning just got fired. He had success previously. He was promoted. Didn’t perform. Fired. That is not a Buddy system. It only makes sense to hire people you feel you can get along with. Hiring friends is not a problem if you are willing to fire those friends when they need to be fired.

Yes, Willams had been saying for days it was coming, and Jeremy confirmed it when it was official. It’s weird how you’re so hung on on something, that you clearly have no idea what you’re talking about.
You're proving my point that there are several definitions for 'breaking' the story. At least on CF.
CW, Jeremy, Rittenberg, take your pick.
