He and Green would’ve been huge for this team. Green by himself would’ve actually.
I’m still not understanding why he isn’t hitting consistently from 3. He was recruited as a supposed sharp shooter. His form looks great. What’s happening?
One knock already this year (possibly) is injuries while last year they weren't a problem.
First game I’ve watched this year. Like our size and length, love Holmes (I don’t think there’s any doubt he’ll be our leading scorer), Lipsey is a really good PG…so under control, hard to watch Grill and Kunc chuck 3 after 3, Osun looks like he can do some things offensively and he’s got a nice stroke at the foul line so we need to get him way more post touches, I think we’re going to win a lot of ugly games like we did last year.
This is why I love CF. Coming into a thread just to see people ***** and moan over a ******* victory.

I don’t care for the chant either, but did hear/see some of the players on the bench doing it sometimes today.
Nice win today. Lots of good and some not so good. With our inconsistent 3 point shooting we NEED Lipsey to a least appear to be a threat offensively. The court gets pretty damn small on the offensive end otherwise.

Maybe since they tried to play him tonight it's not too bad. We can hope.
Did not look great in the half court tonight. Hoping Kalscheur is near 100% on Thursday. The game vs Nova has ISU breakout and win by 10-12 written all over it. Get bullish on the clones, at least in the non-con again. They have a toughness and physicality that will be hard for teams to adapt to, just as we saw last year. Roll damn Clones
Announcers were horrible and Morgan is an idiot. I counted at LEAST four blatantly wrong calls/statements in the first 10 minutes.
Yeah I came away from that game impressed. I’m thinking we can be really good this year. I came in expecting around the same as last year maybe a step back. I think they can definitely exceed that this year.
They still might struggle in conference but that is because of the conference not our team.
I was overall fairly impressed with Milwaukee. No way they end up 9th in their league if they play like that the entire year.
I think Otz is hoping he has a 3 point shooter. I'm not sure he does. Do we have anyone close to 30-35% made 3's (which isn't great)?
Who were our top three 3-point shooters last year, and their percentage made? Last year was not great. This year might be worse, I don't know.
Should we just focus on mid-range shooting this year, or do we have to shoot 3's even though we don't make many?
We have played 3 games this year. Pretty small sample size to throw Grill under the bus. He shot 35% on 160+ 3pt shots last year. I think his shooting will reach that level. Just hope he is more consistent.
