TCU -- that finish

Good research! Thanks for providing that, picture and all.
Brady Quinn said the same thing - that Baylor should have run out the clock - immediately after the game. I figured there was probably something official somewhere that said that isn't allowed by the defense. Just like there are rules about fake injuries and intentionally taking penalties to stop the clock. At the end of the day, the rulebook says if the refs feel a team is doing something unfair then they can call a penalty even if it's not explicitly defined in the rulebook.

In ISU's case, I totally see us falling into that Ruling VIII case. Plenty of time left but no timeouts, so we screw around debating whether to kick or go, then when we send in the FG unit late we do have to wait for the other team to substitute.

And I'd love to see Gundy get called for late/slow defensive substitutions one of these days. Of course we do ourselves no favors by waiting to sub until there are 10 seconds on the play clock...

K State is beating TCU in the Big 12 Championship. Barring Howard going down, I think it's actually a double-digit win for the Wildcats. KSU is the best team imo with Howard at QB. They should have been playing him the entire year and they likely have 1 loss at the most. They were working TCU before Howard had to leave that game a few weeks ago.

Only good thing is Tennessee is going down in flames. Unless LSU pulls the upset on Georgia they are out. USC still has a rough finish even if they get by UCLA tonight. If Ohio State beats Michigan, TCU may still get in only losing the Big 12 title game if it's not a beat down because the Wolverines had one of the biggest jokes of a non-con schedule around and could get punished for it.
