Yes but then also women of color and especially women involved es in sex work go missing in high % with authorities not caring. I swear I just read about a woman going missing near Dioux City, wasn't that on CF? Obviously this guy is dead but it's a real crisis in Indigenous and other communities.
If there are 75+ murder victims as this article suggests you would think there would at least be some missing person reports and investigations over that time span. It would be really hard, even in butt **** Iowa, to kill and burry that many people without any suspicion.
not unbelievable.... this is close to the interstate and omaha... young women go missing alot..... throw in these women are most likely from rough/troubled backgrounds.. 70 over 40 years isnt out of the question

If he was targeting people who wouldnt be noticed if they were missing (runaways, sex workers, etc) there may not have been missing persons reports. Even if they were noticed, there have been issues in many places where the reports arent taken or aren't taken seriously.
I think the daughter is claiming a lot of them were prostitutes from Omaha. Wouldn't really take much to drive to KC/St. Jo from there either. Right down 29.

Many in sex work though, right? No one looks for them when they go missing. Next I'd be real curious if the wives committed suicide. Women prefer pills over violent ends.
Wasn't Skidmore the town where a local thief/whacko kept stealing things but was never arrested? The townspeople finally had enough and they shot him In Broad Daylight the name of the book and movie. The dead guy was shot with bullets and slugs, but no one saw a thing. They took the law in their own hands to deal with the thief.

The town only has about 300 people in it. Conception is down around there also. That's where the guy shot all those monks back in the early 2000's.
