There is original content out there if you look for it. The problem is people don't watch original content. People complain about all of the sequals and reboots, but they make them because that is what people watch.I have found myself wondering "what happens when the new ideals do truly run out?" They market what makes money. What do you think motivates the industry? You think they are forcing reboots and sequals on us through marketing because they like being jerks? Of course not. They push reboots and sequals because their market research shows it's easiest to sell what people are familiar with.
