The Fran fade

I remember when Iowa fans were trying to make the "TJ Tumble" a thing this year when we literally played in the toughest basketball conference while they got to play Nebraska.

What was the final outcome? 16-1 outside the big 12. Beating Big Ten champs in a road game, blowing out big ten tournament champs in laughable fashion.

All the other conferences might as well be considered a lower division the past few years, not just big ten. Big East, SEC, Pac and AAC also seemed laughably easy last year compared to every single big 12 matchup.

Was just looking at Iowa's B1G schedule and Feb sets up real nice for a Fran Fade. Depending on how Indiana and Rutgers end up being, this may be the toughest schedule Fran has played at Iowa.

So first tweet says Kris is NOT Keegan, needs to be judged on his own merits. Second tweet says, Kris should be 1st team because look his twin brother was last year.
Talk about wanting it both ways . . .

I didn't follow that closely. Did Kris do enough last year to warrant 1st team pre-season this year, or are there enough other conference players returning that were more productive/better than him last year?

LMAO not even close. He cant finish at the basket anywhere close to Keegan. He's a good shooter and that has been the meat and potato's of his game.

There were 12 guys on the big 10 first team preseason team. 3 of them unanimous. There are better players returning but David is just being David.

Feel bad for Kris tbh. Everyone is pointing at him being their next player of the year contender and filling the Garza and Keegan spot just because he's related to him. If he's anything less than a 1st team all American the fans are going to kill him
