I grew up in WI - beloved might be strong. He goes 5-0 at KU and he is heralded. It’s almost expected at WI.

If that was the expectation of the Badgers when you grew up, you aren't that old.

Chryst isnt going to be an O-line coach anywhere. If he doesn't want to retire and enjoy the easy life, he's at worst a P5 coordinator, but more likely a head coach elsewhere.

Just spit balling but a reduced pay out might make sense if payment is being accelerated (lump sum vs multi-year) or if any claw backs for coaching somewhere else are removed.
