Yeah but that was all against an absolutely horrible West where they should have dominated based on their defensive and rushing pedigree.
The only knock was he couldn't get past Penn State or Ohio State but generally programs like WI need those programs to be in down years to win with a couple of exceptions.
Wisky is gonna lose a lot of their appeal when their auto Big 10 title game spot goes away in a few years.

I think you might be right. I think what I’m remembering is somebody speculating they might do away with it next season to pacify some of the east teams.

Eh, it’s been pretty clear that program was heading in a quick downward trajectory. Losing to Bielema who everyone hates up there though didn’t help.

Problem is they have been getting blown out by the big boys for 3-4 years now. They understand that a bunch of wins against Nebraska and northwestern doesn’t necessarily mean they are keeping up in the arms race with the rest of college football
Money doesn't matter anymore in the Big 10. This is where a lot of that extra money will go for these schools.
On the NIL front for players. I'd almost lean towards Nebraska having more of a commitment on that front.
