Big 12 Conference Schedule

Not too bad. It's going to be a normal Big XII grind. At least we only have one home league game without the students, and I feel like the crowd on New Year's Eve is usually pretty decent.

There's a couple three game stretches that will probably dictate how our season goes (1/10 - 1/17) and (1/30 - 2/8). We follow up Tech with KU in both of those stretches.

Next year's class has a ton of justified hype, but I'm anxious to see what we do this year. My guess is that we are to be in the middle of the Big XII, but I can talk myself into being a little better or a little worse pretty easily.

This league is almost unfair how deep and loaded everyone is.. 3/4 final four teams and everyone with a 40%+ chance to make the dance. 8/1 at 62% or higher

4 games in a row on espn+
Probably gonna have to bite the bullet and get the subscription.

theres more to life than iowa state basketball, my man!

i used to get like this but realized its not worth it lol

Haha. I'm 38 and just realized this. I also was too hyped after each game, but now it wears off after about 15 minutes. My pets are thankful for this as well.

Hopefully we can pile up wins against Big Ten and Big East again before varsity schedule starts.

22 would be the full double.

The way our league has been a giant leap above everything else...unless some of the new additions struggle that could be brutal and I don't see the committee giving us credit for our schedules being even better than they have been.

I genuinely believe all ten teams were NCAA worthy last year by end of season. OK St wasn't eligible and lost early but they were really tough by end of the year.

Look at the results of TCU and ISU when they got into the tournament and away from B12 play. TCU was no worse at all than #1 Arizona. It worked out with our seeding but TCU got screwed by catching a one seed early (and losing by an eyelash). They are Sweet 16 in many other places of the bracket and probably would've been a 4-6 seed feasting on any other conference. ISU probably would've been a 3-5 seed had we played in any other conference after the undefeated non-conf.

Unless a program or two drops off really hoping committee looks at the situation closely. ISU didn't just magically play great again after Big 12 was over, the Big Ten champ would've been a bottom half team in our league. The top half of the ACC was the only comparable basketball last year. The rest of it might as well have been considered mid majors.

If these teams blow the doors off everybody in non conf they should really consider teams even if they only have 4-6 wins in conference.

Why does the Big 12 insist on starting MBB on NYE, especially this year when the CFB playoff and Sugar Bowl are that day?

Going to be strange to not have any Saturday home games the entire month of January.

KState's ranking quite skewed by Keyontae Johnson projections. They also have a couple of newcomers who were good players on bad low major teams. We'll see how that works out.
