two guys named chris

The only bad part is Miller and Hassel make hawk fans seem decent. Actually I’ve always kind of liked both of them. Iowa Everywhere has far exceeded my expectations. I wish the CF pods could be folded into there though just to make things easier.

I sure think it would make sense for CF and IE to be owned by the same entity (probably along with some Hawkeye equivalent, although HN is much worse than CF). Pool resources, employ people in one place and have them create content that can be cross-posted between the labels.

I think we all can say we enjoy the content but I think it might be impacted by how crappy Iowa is right now. I hope it stays enjoyable if somehow they figure things out (I don’t think that happens any time soon but I think you can see what I am saying here)

It's kind of nice that Iowa can be good now and we will still have the W over them no matter what. And this Iowa team is not going to do anything special this season anyway.

Why is the world is that guy not coaching someplace? or at least being paid to watch film for a team and give his thoughts or something?
I like how he is very positive and focuses on improvement. He points out issues, but he doesn’t let it drag him down and he is always focused on the fix.

As I understand it, he was open to coaching OL somewhere—but didn’t want to go the “grad assistant/don’t get paid squat” way of working up the ladder.

He worked his way up in construction instead.

The Iowa Everywhere podcasts are awesome. Williams and Hassel together is great, and Williams and Miller together is great. I think Jared and JBo will be better during basketball season.

JorBo is the only one of the guys without prior broadcasting experience, and at this point it really shows.

I thought Sage was giving us some really good stuff this week as well, talking about what it feels like as a qb when you are backed up inside the 1 yard line for instance. He was pretty honest about what he sees going on with Petras and the Iowa offensive scheme as well, despite admitting he never feels sorry for any Iowa quarterback....

Yeah IE is becoming a must check every day to see what has dropped. I'd never in a million years listen to Jbo on his own but put him with Stans and its a good dynamic.

I couldn’t agree more with this, also the Rose and Blum show is fantastic as well. Last week Jbo said like 20% of the games he played in were fixed against the hoks… So yeah I’m excited to hear Niang rip him this week for sure!

I’d actually like to have Deace back on radio to talk strictly sports. The facts he could spout off the top of his head was pretty impressive.
Trying to avoid the cave with this, but the difference between the current Miller and Deace twitter feeds could not be more stark. Very much "Two paths diverged...I chose the one less traveled and that made all the difference." I used to enjoy listening to Miller and Deace talk sports, but I just can't see that working now.

just purely looking at youtube- two guys named chris is the more popular option with views over 1K.

The IE podcasts mixed in with a few CF podcasts have replaced the radio for me. Ever since Williams and Ross’s show ended, outside of Murph and Andy, KXNO has been crap. Travis and Sean are both unbearable to listen to so IE came at the perfect time

Jordan has had a podcast for years now. He had Jay Bilas on last year.

I get what Iowa Everywhere is trying to do and it's a decent idea, but I'm not listening to anything with Hassell, Miller or DoucheBo.
Miller sounded too monotone for me in his Sunday show. I haven't checked out Jordan and Jared because Stanz' voice or cadence drives me up the walls. I'm not sure what it is, but whenever he was on KXNO it was switched to music instantly in my car. Hassell has done a really nice job these first few episodes and I'm really looking forward to more of what and CW have to say.

People get upset when others say they won't support Jorbo's endeavors. This is another reason to not listen. I don't want to sit there and listen to someone who is that far out of touch with reality or is just saying things they don't believe to get a reaction. One of those is true in this case.

And techically I think he said 20% of the losses he played in, not 20% of the games. That would reduce the number of fixed games but still out of touch with reality. Just because calls don't go your way doesn't mean the game is fixed. You can see it wrong or officials can make mistakes or choose to call it differently than you like but still within the rules. That =/= fixed

No, I didn't watch/listen to the pod, I think this snippet was on Twitter.
