Punter Steps

It's been a while since we've had a 2 step punter at ISU. But i think part of the punting woes is missing Hathcock as our LS on punts... Significant drop off with Guess.

Edit: I think Dunn switched from 3 to 2 stop at ISU but he took two long after getting set after the snap. A lot of 2 step punters are set at the snap, or sometimes taie that set/split step as they catch to get it off quicker

He is slow getting it off. He seems very deliberate in his steps.

Something that definitely needs to be fixed because good teams will continue to exploit it. Even last week against SEMO, they almost got one. Maybe a different protection scheme could help as well. The 3 guys back seemed to end-up pretty close to the punter vs. stoning the rusher.

I think I saw ISU's punter with a 3-step kick. Did I not see it correctly? If so, that is a big part of the reason for the blocks. Gives the rushers more time in which to cover less distance. Have to fix that.
For the first time since Campbell has been at ISU he has a Special Teams Coach. Did anyone see a positive difference in Special Tesms play today? Not me!

When this board called it all week and then it happens twice, it's an obvious issue. Also maybe put the upback a little farther forward? I don't know, I'm no rocket scienctist. I thought the long snapper did a decent job and when we did get a punt off, they were solid. Taylor being a little off today was a nice break.
