Lawyer fees for a will

We used Hope Wood prior to the CF partnership. I would recommend her to anyone that wants a quick and easy process.

Edit: can’t remember the price but seems to be in line with what people are talking about in the thread. $400-$700 range iirc.

CycloneFanatic has a sponsorship from Hope Woods for a Will in a Day. Might be worth looking into if you're in the DSM metro.
I missed that. Did you hear that in a pod or see it on here somewhere?

We paid $525. Estate battles with 6 figure estates will put 1-2 zeros after that cost without breaking a sweat

Check your benefits with your job to see if you have legal insurance. I got my will done for free since this is something I get through my employer; just make sure the attorney is in network.

I am an attorney and I practice in estate planning in West Des Moines.

A will plus power of attorneys and living will, depending on who you go to, will be somewhere in that 500-1000 range.

A revocable trust plan is more in the 3500-5000 range.

Revocable trusts avoid probate costs and delays (assuming it’s done properly).

Downtown firms can cost a bit more, some smaller firms will cost a bit less. It all just depends on your needs and the complexities of your estate.

If anyone on here is really rich and would like to put me in their will I would appreciate it. Working sucks
