Purdy should get lots of PT in the 2nd half. Hopefully he does some great things. Had some strong looking passes at the end of the 1st.
Sudfeld plays before BP every game I've seen so that doesn't appear to bode well for him at this point.
Like him or hate him Herbbie showing BP some love.
Brock looked good on the last drive. All his throws were on target. Unfortunate that the drive ended with a drop for what would have been a first down.
Agree, he’s looked great so far. Small little hiccup with the under thrown ball in the first half but he’s looked a lot better than sudfeld
I would never bet against Brock to accomplish anything, he's just the kind of guy that will fail over and over again and just keeps coming.
That was a fun Brock / Iowa State moment they just showed. Kirk giving him lots of praise too.

Pretty clear to me that Purdy stood out while his teammates let him down. Dropped passes, stupid penalties, not getting open. Purdy was at least making things happen or trying. He looked comfortable and definitely not like a rookie. Except when he totally didnt see that LB that ambushed him. Good play by that dude though
