Another Female Teacher 'Incident'

They would hammer a knothole in a tree if they knew they wouldn’t get slivers.

I prefer the Surly version of this thread. They usually get the facebook page of the teacher linked in along with other found photos of her.

A 13 year old and 60 days……….pretty disgusting. Why do the women teachers basically get a slap on the wrists for this behavior?

Great question. Severity of penalty is usually greater for men than women. Well documented.
I remember a trial where a bf/gf killed a bunch of people, including kids, and they both got the death penalty. He was executed, and she was changed to life because the death penalty was too severe, and one reason given was due to her being female.

In my profession it’s forbidden to have sex with a client. Our ethics/law prof told us women get one get out of jail free card and men get their license suspended for 2 years automatically.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the former CCA and Solon softball coach that was arrested on 7/31. Incident (s) happened 15 years ago.
I mean seems pretty likely he didn't do it one time 15 years ago and then completely stop, no?

Was going to make a joke, but 13 is pretty ridiculous.

Yeah, if this were like an 18 year old student you can certainly debate levels of punishment, but 13? That should be "straight to jail".

And while I understand allowing to delay the sentence because of the newborn, how many other people are afforded that benefit?

She's gross as are most of the teachers who do this.

My question is: why are schools continually hiring young teachers in their early/mid 20's to teach kids close to their own age? Isn't that just asking for this to happen?

My maturity level at 25 was pretty much what it was at 18, which is to say, immature.

I went through public schools in the 70's/80's and I can't remember one female or male teacher who was in their 20's. Seems there's an obvious solution here.

I hate to say it but... she is also white and probably had a good lawyer. POC with a public defender, she is giving birth in her cell and doing hard time.

The justice system is a lot of system, and not much justice.
