Stadium Construction 7/28

What's the O/U on number of people complaining about it not being wide enough after the first game?

Should be a nice improvement to gameday flow. If nothing else, in the overheads it'll make things look even more high end.

Given the outrage over it being built, probably about a googleplex.

the traffic will most typically be one- way I would presume, correct? seems like it will be fine for those purposes, but man if you get two-way traffic that could be difficult.

I think there will a lot of two way traffic by people going to different tailgates with their traveling case of beer, but peak usage before and after game should be mostly one way

Are there actually people outraged about it being built? Everyone was pretty excited about it that I know. I’ve heard some grumbling about RVs moving, but not so much on the bridge.
If there are, it's prob like anything else. The very vocal yet extremely small minority who have to worry about things like this in life instead of focusing on their actual problems.

Only on CF. People thought JP was wasting money on this when donor specifically gave money for it. Also griping about logo size. :rolleyes:Personally I think it will save lives and assist with Jamie’s entertainment district vision, but people probably ***** about rainbows and flowers too.

Damn straight I'll complain about stupid flowers and their pollen! Stop and smell the roses, then SNEEZE!!!! I bet if we didn't have that dumb Rieman Gardens next to the stadium we'd have 20% less sneezing in and around the stadium. I bet our players could breath .05% easier on gameday. We should tear that place down and put up another concrete parking lot like God intended!

(please see this dripping with sarcasm)

This is where 'writing' on a board vs in person conversation separates itself. I, merely, was being a perfectionist (by product of my ISU Architecture degree) in my comment of the logo and that consumed all but what? 2 posts? Hardly worth calling that disagreeing with the bridge. In fact, I love the bridge. Maybe on the other side we can say 'Thanks for visiting ISU! Please come again.' ;) (COMPLETE sarcasm)

Seasonal allergies is no laughing matter. The lack of pollinating plants in Norman has obviously contributed to Oklahoma's success.

I support your proposal, and I would direct your de-pollenation efforts to the corn south of town. The fall winds from the south has brought this pollen scourge to JTS for the CyHawk game in particular. Wiping runny noses is likely the culprit for our turnover margin struggles from last year, along with shanked punts.
