Study confirms Idiocracy is accurate

Or you can just watch the opening scene of Idiocracy. Amazing how precient Mike Judge was almost 20 years ago.

Well, did you always say, hey lets hook up that woman, she's smart, or hey looks hook up with that dumb one?

I've generally thought of Darwinism (aside from people that get too close to buffalo, etc.) in the physical enhancement aspect.

Several years ago there was an article in National Geo that mentioned an island somewhere with a species of bird whose beak evolved to bigger and stronger to be able to break up certain seeds or something. Those with too small of beaks didn't make it.

Sometimes those really smart people have no common sense so they do things like try to pet a Buffalo. The common sense but dumb ones, always know how to breed though.

Honestly, doesn't this support Darwin's theory? If Darwin's theory of natural selection is for a species to survive and grow, them wealth or health past 40 is really irrelevant. Someone who can no longer procreate isn't really helping the species.

I’ve known several men who became fathers in late 50s and 60s.

Me too and I can’t figure out why. Lol. I’m in my forty’s and can’t for the life of me figure out where they get the energy.

You can’t look at some 29 year olds and know you’d have the energy for them?

Every target and wal mart has effectively had huge Brawndo section right next to checkout for a decade. Sometimes it’s hard to even find normal things to drink.

The movie probably careened over the cliff by being too broad but damn, I think there's no doubt that the population of dumb ************* has exploded.

Two days ago, in the Walmart parking lot, I witnessed a 20-something meth-head with his wife and young kids screaming at the top of his lungs at some young woman in her car, dispute over right-of-way I guess. Pathetic scene. Then yesterday, I bought at auction the collected papers of a woman who'd been born and raised here, attended high school in the 1950s. Diaries, report cards, notes, letters, copies of the weekly paper published by the students, homecoming stuff, etc. Got a flavor of what life was like here in the 1950s.

The contrast between then and now is SO stark.

1). They sold that stuff at auction?

And

2). Someone actually bought it?
