Interesting ESPN read interviewing transfers.

Well Rasir didn't try to sugar coat what happened there, did he? I'm glad to see he came full circle in appreciating TJ's honesty, but that was still interesting to read. Credit to TJ for having the fortitude to tell your leading returning scorer he wouldn't play.

Don't see too many players owning up to being pushed off a team very often.

I still want a kid to come out and just be like “Auburn offered me a bucket of money, so I decided that was my best fit”

I would love if a kid get all honest like that. Hey Kansas State offered me a NIL deal for 20k, Miami offered me almost a million. It was a no brainer as a free agent

Didn't CW pretty much tell us what it was in the Premium Lounge at the time?

I see you two are both T2 members. I figured you'd therefore know.
I didn’t join till the Campbell/ND stuff was going down.

Is that where the team voting him off the island thing came from?

There's a CW post specifically shooting that rumor down.

I don't want to give away too much premium info (so mods please delete if I am here, but hey this happened a year ago and I'm not saying much), but CW stressed it was TJ's decision and only his.

That’s good to know since that seemed like the worst manager style ever to let players competing for spots and minutes kick someone off the team

Indeed -- no way to run a railroad. Wasn't what happened, though.

TJ made the best decision for the program going forward in his judgement.

I think it worked out pretty well for both parties.

It was TJ’s decision after meeting with all the players and staff individually. So no he wasn’t “voted off the island” by the players, but the information from the players and staff led to TJ’s decision.

Reading the feedback on this articles ratio of Rasir v. Osun comments explains who the jackwagons are that slow down to gawk at accidents.
