Going to this Thursday night and can't wait. Reviewers are pretty strong for a horror movie. Based on the short story by Joe Hill (son of Stephen King).

I don’t know what to make of it based on the trailers. Definitely report back, I’m really curious.
It's good. Quite good actually. Big thumbs up from both of us who both went in thinking it would be just a decent suspense/horror movie.
My 14 year old son wants to go see it with me. He's watched other horror movies, so jump scares are not an issue. However, is there gore or very adult themes?
Not gory at all. I mean there is blood and you see a couple of deaths but it’s not gratuitous like the Saw movies if that makes sense. As for very adult themes…there is child abuse by a father punishing with a belt. Obviously it’s about kidnapping and murdering kids. But if I was 14 and wanted to see it I would think I’ve seen worse things all around.
