I want to wish all you Dads out there a Happy Father's Day!
Any special stories you want to share, go for it!

I saw my dad yesterday and noticed he traded in his vehicle and said something about the huge sunroof. He always has had this funny thing of "well it needed new tires anyway so I figured I'd just save money and get a new one."

One of my greatest memories was when I visited Iowa State with my dad who graduated in the late 70s. This was his first time coming back to ISU in many years and you could see his face light up as he was telling all his stories. I knew then that I wanted to follow in his footsteps and attend ISU.

He died a couple years later when I was a sophomore so he never got to see me graduate but I know I did him proud.

To echo David Letterman... my daughters are living, breathing proof that I have, in fact, had sex. Twice.

Favorite line from my dad was always his response to waiter/waitress when they ask if he wants any steak sauce with his dinner... "And ruin a good steak?"

Best remark I overheard, " Having only daughters is karma for your behavior as a teen and young adult". Kidding a friend yesterday about having very attractive daughters and meeting their dates at the door with a shotgun. He told me he had 3 daughters but way more guns.

Well if true I have 2 daughters, karma kicked me. But its all good.

Girls are fun. (Except for all the hair ties lying around.)

You enjoy the drama? Or your daughters are under age 5-6?
2 daughters 8 and 5 here and even at that age there is still drama. Just not looking forward to teenage drama that can be more complicated than the stupid stuff they have drama about now. That and being outnumbered 3 to 1 when that time of the month hits the household is not going to be fun... lol

Love them both to death and would not trade them for anything. Being a dad to 2 girls has taught me sometimes have to read the room more carefully as what dad may find funny or sarcastic depending on the mood of the daughter they may take it the wrong way.
