It's not a racist comment. I am simply saying that he hired him to help recruit the south. I can guarantee you this is 100% true. I know a s&c coach who was best friends with Chizik at Auburn. He assumed he had the ISU job. Chiz and Shep were not friends at all.
But, I'm sure there are many other D1 coaches on this board who know more than me. So if people don't like hearing FACTS straight from the mouth of people in the coaching profession I will no longer post.
He wasn't doubting all your logic - just your logic that Shep sucks as an S&C coach and Chiz and MacKBrown and every other BCS coach realize there is no value in S&C so just hire babysitters that an talk about the old neighborhood to the players in winter.

Yeah and Jordan Carstens did the same thing under Getty so whats your point? It all come down to how hard that particular individual wants to work.
I suspect that many coaches, players and recruits were told several stories by our dearly departed in the past two years.

Really, because I heard Bo Williams was firing the rest of the department and playing all the sports, by himself. Word is that we'll move to #1 in all the polls when he makes the formal announcement later this afternoon. But I may have heard it on one of the other tubes.
Maybe Bo will just dress up like Mr. T.

Maybe Mr. T will dress up like Bo. Although I like your thinking. If we got Mr.T, Bo Williams, Chuck Norris, Jack Bauer and the Rock together, it would be one wicked awesome basketball team that could probably also win a few national titles for just about any other sport. We're 20% there.
