Favorite Network Sports Theme Songs

What are some of your favorite sports network theme songs? I'm sure that Roundball Rock "NBA on NBC" is a heavy favorite but wanted to know if there are others that you like. Are they any older ones that bring back some memories?

Speaking of which, anybody else have the electronic Monday Night Football game as a kid? The big stadium, the offense play cards you’d put along one side and the defense cards on one end, then you‘d slide your selector for each to pick a play call and the result would light up on the field?

Fun fact...I don't think CBS has sold the rights to the SEC yet to use the theme.

Nothing better than being a kid in the 80's and seeing Saturday Nights Main Event on the TV schedule instead of SNL. The build up of the promos to the great 80's song of Obsession and the production of hulk hogan flexing to the music was genius.

I loved the old-school CBS NFL intro that ended with Musberger saying, "You are looking live at..."

The old ABC wide world of sports, featuring the song "Fire on High" by Electric Light Orchestra was my fave.

These synthesizer songs don't hit the mark. Get out some goddam real trumpets and drums. Tesh at a keyboard? That's not sport....

MLB on Fox theme. All the regional networks used it before switching to Bally sports, whose theme sucks.

Good friend of mine (and fellow ISU alum) has scored some music Fox Sports has used in a lot of games for mostly college sports including ISU games. Some contemporary, some orchestral sounding.

NBA on NBC by Tesh though, he’d insist on same.
