Agree...but it appears they named Jim Caldwell as the next coach some time ago?
They are built to do well for the next couple of years but we can see where they will be in 3-5 years. Peyton will be done, Harrison and Wayne are not the same guys. Caldwell will be fine but I think Tony is getting out before they have to revamp the roster.
He almost quit a year ago. Tony has said he doesn't have any more to prove and that he wants to "smell the roses". He's made good money.
He lost a son a few years ago and that has impact on a person. I see him doing some community service work.
I have a lot of respect for this guy.

100% correct. I think the writing is on the wall. They are on the decline. They basically rode Manning to the playoffs this year. Their running game was in the toilet most of the year, and the defense is getting harder and harder to hold together. Don't get me wrong, there is still a good team in Indianapolis, but their window is rapidly closing.
