OK - I don't get nearly as worked up about recruiting as many of you and I don't pay attention to the "stars" awarded by the various services (for instance - Bob Sanders was a two-star offered only by Iowa and Akron).
How many of these kids returning LOI's were completely unknown to the ISU masses? I'm trying to understand if GC was truly recruiting "under the radar" of the scouting services...
Also, are there any "great surprises" in those who've signed so far, and by this I mean "great gets" who were unexpected?
I'm hoping I'll have the opportunity to listen to KXNO at 4:30PM so as to hear GC's "take"! Go Cyclones!

Relax...Des Moines telephone lines are all frozen, so it takes longer for the sound impulses to travel to Ames. Plus, a number of what appears to be hawks (could be crows, or some other fowl) are sitting on the wires near Ankeny. Not sure what's up with that...
