With Bally apparently going to a subscription streaming service, OU is moving to ESPN+ for its final 3 years in the Big 12.

This will be nice for ISU fans who are already ESPN+ subscribers, when it comes to WBB and Olympic sport contests played in Norman.

Good. Was a pain the ass to watch the wrestling dual down there last year.

Interesting that OU may be setting the standard for all SEC schools going forward, ESPN plus? The Longhorn Network will die when the Horns leave the B12.

Sucks that the Longhorn Network was the reason why it drove off A&M and a little bit Missouri as well as Oklahoma looking at the Pac-12. The deal was that UT was going to keep all the profit or something like that around 2029. UT just threw it all the way now though getting a nice payout from the SEC. But they have to share SEC Olympic sports coverage on the SEC channel. UT has no remorse for what they have done to the conference.

A&M had an opportunity to join the longhorns in their television network, they declined. Missouri I think just saw the writing on the wall and left once they had an opportunity.

There isn't a school in the B12 that would not have left or probably still wouldn't for the right opportunity. So all the angst directed at those who left is simple pettiness by those left behind. That energy would be better placed at fixing the future rather than bemoaning the past.
