Is Brock the slowest player in D1? Lets his man go right by him for a layup. I have more quickness than he does. Cut him from the team.
we turn the ball over too much, we are a terrible shooting team, we don't switch up defenses...i am having trouble finding something we do well. any help?!?!?

Mizzou is still shooting 3's with under a minute to play and an 20+ point lead...a rematch against them won't come soon enough.

Agree 100 percent and people wonder why he doesn't always get minutes. He's looked lost on both ends the last few games. He looks slower than he did earlier in the season too. Must be hitting the freshman wall a tad.
Mizzou has a lot more talent than ISU and it really showed tonite inside the paint. Also isu's defense is so bad, we could not have beaten a good high school team tonight.
McDermott has a long ways to go to get this program to be competitive in the big 12.
I don't think it's bashing. I agree, that was not the best coached game by GMac and I'm a huge fan of him. There were no adjustments the whole game. If something isn't working.....fix it. We didn't even attempt anything.
How can we LET them shoot 50% , all layups and wide open shots.
CJ looked terrible, WJ was not good on the defensive end & didn't ever try to go to the hoop (3's are great, but he's a fwd for Gods sake), Taylor WTF'd the game away, Jiri threw up a few times and after the 8 minute mark we flat gave up ...

Well, at least Mac will have something to work on in practice ... the entire game of basketball.
A couple of these guys simply are not coachable. That HAS to be the case, because I can only imagine how much GMac tries to hammer it into their heads how important taking care of the basketball is...yet it STILL HAPPENS! In the words of Lee Corso, unbelievable.
Even the ushers deserve criticism after tonight's game. There was not a bright spot. BTW, there is usually a very good reason why a visiting team shoots 50% in someone elses gym.
I agree, GMac would only have to tell me once. (and then I would have to change my shorts.)
