He should have resigned a few years ago so someone who was willing to take on the tough issues could have been hired instead of doing nothing and leaving when the proverbial **** hit the fan.
2023? There may not be an NCAA left by then. Practically a smoking crater already.

Your periodic reminder that "the NCAA" is really just a conglomerate of universities and their administrators, who could do whatever they wanted whenever they wanted to - including firing Mark Emmert - and chose not to. Keep the focus where it belongs.

This. Emmert didn't do anything that the universities that make up that'd be great. We were hot dogs. Walmart why is this? It's just not boiling NCAA didn't want him to do.
