Not sure why they wanted to do this, but I found this statement rather funny
I wonder if Vegas had odds of which one of the cousins between Aikins and Farrington would successfully swap into the other plane?

I'm amazed one of the guys made it into the other plane. You wouldn't want to miss the open door and get chewed up by the prop.

"Condition of the plane remains unknown."

I think we can all guess at its current "condition".

They should both lose their licenses, given they asked for an exemption and FAA won't grant them one and they went and did it anyway. Red Bull should get a huge fine and clean up every bit of airplane scrap they littered the desert with.

They likely will. Just last week the FAA revoked the certificate of a YouTuber pilot that very clearly purposely crashed his plane for views.

At least they are not Trevor Jacob and tried to act like it was a fake crash. That was the worst. These guys at least though out the consequences of missing.

I'm surprised the FAA allowed this to happen. Especially with this dude doing it on purpose a couple months ago just for clicks on youtube.

(Original Video has been heavily edited since I originally saw it)

The FAA didn't allow it to happen. They asked and they said no but they did it anyway.
