I think Austin City Limits music festival is going on the weekend of the Texas game. Definitely check it out if you can and get a hotel ASAP because that stuff goes fast on festival weekends.

Contact the DFW club, they will partner with the Austin club for seats and a tailgate. If you go to the tailgate, but sure to take some type of chair to sit on, my advice would be pick up a cheap lawn chair at Walmart and just leave it there.

We went a few years ago and stayed at the downtown Hampton Inn and it was nice. We just spent the long weekend walking around.

I liked 6th St and my wife liked Rainey St as it is more laid back.

1. Tumble 22 is the best friend chicken spot I have had ever
2. Terry Blacks BBQ is elite bbq. Great sides, tons of options, fun atmosphere.

- East side of town is the hipster side, downtown is fun but can be pricey. Downtown has a good Courtyard I've stayed at.
