After playing for USC and Georgia since 2018, quarterback JT Daniels will be suiting up for his third collegiate program next season after opting to transfer to West Virginia, he told ESPN.

Daniels entered 2021 as a favorite to win the Heisman Trophy and a top-ranked NFL draft prospect. When he has been healthy he has been unstoppable.

If Daniels wins the job, he'll play behind an offensive line that features all five starters returning.

We've beaten far better QB's than JT Daniels. I'm not that worried about a guy that got beat out at Georgia. He'll probably be solid for them, I don't think he's like the OU QB's, Mahomes or Will Grier.

I understand his pedigree but pretty injury issues, pretty "meh" numbers and lost his starting job at 2 different schools. I guess I'll be worried when he shows he can perform up to his high school reputation.

Yeah, with the new coach being a fantastic recruiter, I think Tech is going to step ahead of TCU and Baylor. They will be 2nd best team in Texas after TAMU.

I didn't think we played WVU last year. I cannot recall that game at all . . .

Some transfers fit in and play well, and some show exactly why they likely did not have success at the places from which they transferred.
