A few notable stats — 4-season numbers.

PPG: 12.9
RPG: 6.2
2PT%: .594, on 586 attempts (only one season under .600)
3PT%: .325, 643 attempts
FT%: .680, but 3 seasons above 70% (59% in year 2)
PF avg: 2.3
Steals: 1.3
TVR/AST mostly a wash

And we all know that in actuality it’s only 2 because AJ Green is going to need one.
We can’t just pay Kyle directly?

Also, is Jones for sure returning if we’re bringing in two bigs and Jones is recruited over? A senior that’s the 5th big and isn’t going to play is uncommon. There could be 4 to give, plus Green as scholarship #14.

Vander Plas would be a huge upgrade over Enaruna, Conditt, and Jones on offense.

Wonder what it means for Basile if Vander Plas commits first. Hard to see Iowa State taking both guys.
You absolutely make room somehow. Don't know exactly what but you could see potentially someone like Rob not wanting to be the 6th big in rotation or something. But I just don't think ISU is really in the position to turn down either of those guys if they both wanted to come.

Depends on how the staff views Tre King's position flexibility- can he play both 3 & 4? If so, then taking a couple post guys this spring makes a lot of sense. Then add Williams and another scorer at wing and we would have a pretty solid lineup.

Vander Plas and Basille have a similar skill set, so I see your point. But I don't think we are in a position where we pass on quality guys if they both want to come to ISU. A guy like Ward would bring a little different game.
