KSU QB JOSH FREEMAN ENTERING DRAFT

Well, I don't think next year would have helped him, because I don't think (from what I've seen) he's cut for the NFL. He'll be cut, but he's not cut to be a great player.

I still relish the angry days Husker fans had when he de-committed via text message, and went to KSU. That was classic down there!!

Yeah, but I don't blame him, I wouldn't want to play for Nebraska either. Anyways with him leaving thats another win for ISU next year. I know he's not the greatest QB, but he did alright this year against ISU.

Josh Freeman only looked good against ISU because ISU had absolutely no pass rush and the softest coverage on earth. Does anyone else remember how bad he looked two years ago here in Ames when ISU was able to establish a pass rush?

He was also only a freshman. I'm not disagreeing with you but it was probably easier to rattle a frosh than a 3 year starter.

Disagree. The guy has NFL size, an NFL arm and he's mobile enough. The only problem I see is between the ears. He's probably going to be a 2nd or 3rd round pick. Maybe not a starter immediately, but he will be eventually. He just fits the bill of an NFL prototype QB.

he wont start for an NFL team EVER.

and ISU is not the only team that has struggled with him.....think texas hasnt exactly figured out hoe to beat him............

Why would he do this? Is he even that good. I didn't think he was.

two words......

BILL SNYDER!!!!!

Probably puttin the hammer down on the kids that had just been gettin by under prince, now Snyders going to expect them to actually work.....

He gone.....

NFL i don't think so, regardless of NFL size.....he hasnt developed. And this is only a guess, but, my guess is because he's so athletic, he's never had to work hard at anything to be good. The NFL don't bring along good players, they draft great players!!!! Good Luck Josh, i hope you got your degree before you left because the arena league don't pay like the NFL - there's always the CFL and you thought it was cold in Manhatten.....

Let's see...... stand on the sidelines holding a clipboard signaling plays, never have to take a hit in practice or games, no pressure to win, no blame for losing, and bank a couple mil each year.

Yeah, who wants that?

He will probably be a first day pick because of his potential. Good pick for a team looking for a guy to be QB in 3 -4 years. He will most likely be a decent backup QB for his career. Being a backup QB is not a bad way to make a living either.

He may have the athletic skills and an NFL prototype body, but I have not seen anything from him that would lead me to believe that he can read an NFL defense and pick it apart.

Sounds a lot like the scouting report on some quarerback from LSu--who starts for the Raiders.

"Ever" is an awfully long time....

You mean, like Kurt Warner? I can think of quite a few others who spent some serious clipboard time before they got their chance. There's one in Green Bay who doesn't look too bad, for that matter. Another (or two) in New England. I certainly wouldn't mind if the Vikes drafted him, and he sat on the bench for a while. Of course, KC will probably jump all over him, sometime after the first round.

They list him as the 4th best QB in the draft this year. Smart move with Bradford staying.

Hmmm. Might have to change your username to Knowsomething?
