I know Stanford is in re-building mode, but the resuscitation of their wrestling program, and the way it was done, means there is plenty of support now. So Woods leaving a school like Stanford and a coach like Koll - for one year - tells me there is more to this story than we are seeing. Just saying.

He graduated Stanford and has 2 years left to compete. There’s nothing more to it. Pretty sure he was a hawk fan growing up at Izzy but couldn’t pass on an opportunity to go to Stanford.

But in a perfect world if he comes to ISU, please make 133 next year
125- Kysen
133- Henson
141- Swiderski
149- Johnson
157- Carr
165- Gaitan/Rojas
174- Devine
184- Coleman
197- Yonger
Hwt- Schuyler/Schon

That’s a really solid lineup. Main unknowns to me would be 149, 165, and 174, but 149 and 165 would have a lot of upside. 174 if Devine would give you a hard worker, top 25 type wrestler that will get you dual meet wins

What's the chance of one of the guys you have at 165 overtaking Devine at 174?

He left Iowa because they brought in a better 141. Don’t see how ISU makes sense for him with Swiderski unless Swiderski is a 49.

If he wanted to go 33, he could have stayed in Iowa City.
