Looks like these are going on right now in Cedar Falls.
Tate and Kane Naaktgeboren are both wrestling.
Tate won by fall his first match and Kane hasn't wrestled yet.

Not sure if there are any other ISU recruits and/or targets in this tournament, but there are tons of Iowa kids rolling with a bunch of guys from across the US which is nice to see.

Looks like Kane teched his first kid.

Tate with another pin in his second match against some Arizona kid.

On another note. Has CJ Walrath committed anywhere? Not that we need more at his weight, but that kid is a hammer.

Kane is looking pretty solid with several takedowns followed by a pin all in the first period.

I'm guessing we'll have a good shot at him when the time comes.

Lil Naak just abused a kid from Oklahoma in the quarter finals. Was up 6-2 in the first and stuck him.

Was tough from the front headlock and played catch and release before having enough of him

Big Naak with a :49 second fall.

Fireman’s, kept the arm and that was that

Naak gets lost in his class with jesuroga and keuter, but the coaches are very happy, very very happy, to have this kid.

To see a kid that big in high school to be able to take kids down with a variety of techniques and not just out muscle them is awesome

I haven’t seen much of him. But That’s almost verbatim what this guy told me. As big as he is, he hits his offense with speed and conviction and that will most definitely play at the D1 level.

And ha!! You and buf aren’t the only ones with sources, damn it!!!!

Mine are all made up and make believe. @buf87 has the legit ones.

In just watching the state tournament, I was probably most impressed with him out of everyone. Keuter is a heck of an athlete, don’t get me wrong, and strong as an ox, but from a pure wrestling perspective, none were more impressive in my eyes. Not only the technique either. Kid has a motor and he’s mean on the mat. Wants to dominate, and does.

In the next class, I thought Carter Freeman looked outstanding. But I’m not sure how he projects to D1.

@buf87 what do you think about the instate studs in the soon to be junior class?
