Steve Prohm returns as head coach at Murray State

The guy can spot talent early and get commits. He will probably thrive there just doing that.
Prohm seems to fit the mold similar to McDermott. Great with the mid majors where guard play is the stronger focus, but not cut out for the power conferences.

Good for him, and hopefully he can repeat the success he had with them previously.

Well, he will become a lifer there and probably turn them into a perennial at-large contender regardless of winning the Missouri Valley.

Would be great for his family with their connections to the area. He's set for life financially.

Will raise the water on the entire Missouri Valley. I look at the WCC with Gonzaga. Having to try and compete with Gonzaga raised the talent of that conference. Theoretically, if Gonzaga had left that conference a decade ago, I'd be willing to be they would be a 1 bid league.

Good for him, good move for Murray. With so many SEC schools having coaching changes, there will be a lot of kids he would have ties to available in the portal. Literally every coach that has been there the last 30 years has had success (and got p6 jobs), they are moving up to the MVC, it's an underrated mid major job.
