KXNO talking about next year? lol. Kris Murray is not Keegan Murray and if I have to hear one more time how "look how much Keegan progress year 1 to year 2!" Kris played 20 min a game this year. He is 22 years old this year... His game isn't changing much.
Kris also had luxury of defenses worrying about Keegan all game leaving him open half time. That is gone. Kris can hit 3's...but his post up game is a shell of what Keegan post up game is..

Fran has proven to us what he is at this juncture.
He's really solid at getting teams TO the dance. He is less than solid at doing anything of substance when he gets there.
Welcome to winning your conference tourney Iowa fans.. Iowa fans for years and years and years downplayed ISU winning conf tourney...4 times in 10 years mind you...and said it didn't mean anything..blah blah blah.
Then they finally win it and it is the greatest conference tournament in the history of college basketball.
Yep Iowa fans...playing 3-4 straight games and then turning around to play in NCAA is not fun for a team.
So freaking unbelievably happy that I'll never have to see that Cocky ass hole Bohanon making a banked, prayer 3pt shot. Ever again.

I would be 100x more likely to listen to an honest and open Hawkeyes Show on KXNO than Andy pretend to not be a gigantic Iowa fan who loathes ISU fans.
In fact I did somewhat enjoy Jon Miller's show and listened to it more often back then. Dishonesty is the worst.
Outside of Keegan all those losses should be replaceable. Presuming there aren't significant transfers out I'd bet on Iowa being NCAA tournament team again next year. Probably more on the 8-10 line.
If a team is truly physically dominant, wins their conference and wins their conference tourney to get a 1, 2 or 3 seed...it's no big deal.
A team finishing in middle of conference getting hot and winning the conference tourney is not some guaranteed trip to the sweet 16. We all have lived that one.
Our Fizer/Tinsley team is an example of the dominant type. That tournament could have been 5-6 games and we'd have curb stomped the first two rounds of NCAA opponents.
I refused to watch. If I watch - even the scores on ESPN - they freaking win every time. It's better when I don't pay attention!
I wouldn't bet a dime on next year's TOE team. They'll be .500, at best.
