Hoping for some help here...

We live in the Twin Cities but will be in Des Moines next weekend to see family. Wondering if there are any good places to get some ISU gear for ourselves and our kiddo. I know there's Scheels, but wondering if there are any other good places to go while we're down there.

Good quality or cheap?

HyVee in Ames typically has some tshirts and stuff at decent price.
Walmart in Ames
Memorial Onion
Barefoot Ames
Cy's Locker Room on Duff in Ames

I live in Colorado now but when visiting relatives in Dubuque and Des Moines, it’s available in about any store. Grocery stores even places like Theisens and cheap, too.

Obligatory reference to the Cyclone Fanatic Shop online.

A lot of the places listed so far only carry generic/off brand stuff - fine if that's what you're looking for, but don't expect to find Nike gear at Hy-Vee. I don't buy much locally (usually use fanatics.com or something), but Scheels/Cy's Locker Room are about the only local I know of to carry the good stuff.

Cy's Locker Room very helpful.

Cy Locker in Ames is not far off the interstate. The ISU bookstore in Ames has more selection in my opinion but is farther off your path. These two will likely have more selection than any place in DM. I have found some good stuff at Scheels though.

Found some good stuff at Scheels over the years too. Really hit or miss, more on the miss side lately. Echoing other comments, University Bookstore or Cy's Locker Room are probably the best bets.

Occasionally at the TJ Maxx in mason city they have some. I imagine the selection at the Ames location would be better.

Is Cy’s Locker the place pretty far south in Duff? Last time I was in Ames about 6 years ago I got an awesome nike hoodie I still wear all the time for 20 bucks.
